Dara Torres Swimming Fast to the Olympics

Watched Olympic tryouts last nite for a bit on the telly. Totally impressed and new fan of Dara Torres, the 41 year old who made a bid and is likely to make it to the Olympics. This is her 5th time going to the Olympics with her first time being in 1984 when she won her first medal.
Last nite was made even sweeter with her time being a personal best. I was cheering her on, especially since I'm a forty-something myself. Her team in the bleachers included her husband, mother and Tessa, her two year old daughter with a sucker in her mouth. After the competition, when asked if Tessa understood what was going on, Dara replied, "She just wanted to see mommy swim". Swim, Dara, swim!!!
